I was on my way home from work, and had just weaved my way through some traffic. Once I saw that there were no cars in front of me for about 1.5 miles I eased into the gas a bit and the car began to pull pretty hard (gotta love 5th gear pull with the NA diff.) I was going about 90mph, when I began to hear that oh-so familiar sound of a mustang V8 with flow-masters on it comming up behind me. I let off the gas to catch a quick look. Turns out to be an SVT cobra. He was pulling pretty hard on me (keep in mind I just let off the gas). I gave him a chance to catch up to me. Just as he was about to attempt a GM fly by, I dropped down to 4th gear and got on the gas. That poor sap didn't know what was going on, cause I began to pull away from him (approximately 5 car lengths). Once I had to stop for a red light, he pulls up besides me and starts revving his motor. I reply by tweaking the gas in the Z. Light goes green and I just go. Next red light, he pulls up next to me again and starts honking his horn and signaling me to roll down my window. He yells over to me asking what I have in my 2+2. I asked how do you know I have a 2+2, and he replied "I could tell from your gas filler cap". I smirked and told him I had a modified intake, aftermarket exhaust and an underdrive pulley (I neglected to mention the fact that my modified intake consisted of 2 turbos and 2 intercoolers.... hehehe). Poor guy was dumb founded and couldn't believe what he thought was a 2+2 NA has just ripped his SVT cobra a new asshole.
